The programme offers further interdisciplinary education. Therefore, the main focus of the Master’s programme is to emphasize on scientific research as well as the expansion of knowledge in the interdisciplinary orientated specifications.

The goal of the Master’s programme is to convey high academic value and pursue innovative scientific research. The academic goals of the syllabus of the Master’s programmes is influenced by the needs of the Greek society for qualified teachers (teachers of German as a foreign language), as well as by scientists of literature, culture and arts. Those scientists are engaged in public as well as private education, interact with organizations, companies and cultural institutions and can therefore mediate knowledge and culture between Greece and Germany.
Upon finishing the programme, graduates receive the title “Master of Arts (MA)” in the discipline “German literature – Greek-German relationships in literature, culture and arts” or in „Interfaces of Linguistics and Didactics“.
